Michigan College Application Week

Oct. 10 - Oct. 14

Michigan College Application Week is a national effort to increase the number of students pursue a postsecondary education. The purpose is to help high school seniors navigate the college admissions process and ensure that each participating student submits at least one admissions application. 

All week students will be doing activities relating to college applications and creating a college culture. Students who apply to colleges will be entered into a drawing. Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships during this week as well.

 Monday, Oct. 10:

     - College Application Week Kickoff Assembly 

     -College Door Decorating Contest Begins

Tuesday, Oct. 11:

     -Dress like a College Student-PJ Day

Wednesday, Oct. 12:

      -College Hat Day

      -Applying to colleges and scholarships during Mrs. Coppess's class

Thursday, Oct. 13:

      - College Apparel: Wear your favorite College Team

Friday, Oct. 14:

     -College Apparel Day

     - Classroom winners will be announced for best decorated door

    - Raffle and week wrap-up assembly

Colleges who will waive their fees every Friday in October:

Andrews University, Baker College, Calvin College, Davenport University, Eastern Michigan University, Saginaw Valley State University
